Fireplaces

There are few things as comforting against the hostile Calgary climate as a warm fire, even better when its setting matches the surrounding cabinetry and decor.  Regrettably some of my most grand fireplaces were built for another company and of which I have no pictures.  Never the less, I have built everything from simple beam mantles to elaborate fireplaces incorporating bookshelves and entertainment centers.  Here again the styles can range from old English oak to modern beech and stainless steel.  The function of the mantle is quite simple allowing for much more creativity in the form.
